My Time at WGT:

My first experience working for Walmart came in the summer of 2024 as a Software Engineering Intern. During this internship I met so many wonderful people, and I worked on a project that not only tested but taught me so much about Software Developement. My project revolved around designing and implementing a RESTFul API in Scala which interacted with an Elastic Search database. I will be returning to work for Walmart in July 2025 to begin working as a Software Engineer 2!

My Time at VCU:

I have attended Virginia Commonwealth University since August 2021 as a member of both the College of Engineering and the Honors College. I have been pursuing a Computer Science Degree concentrating in Software Engineering. I chose VCU as I had grown up around the University for the majority of my life. I plan to graduate Summa Cum Luade in May 2025.

SENIOR CAPSTONE!!

This is my senior capstone project sponsored by Bank of America! It revolved around enhancing their shared services layer through the utilization of GraphQL. I ended up experimenting with not only Hasura, a GraphQL engine, but Tableau for data visualization, Grafana for data quality control, and Auth0 for data governance. In the end we created an efficient system, which allowed data to flow from a Postgres and a MySQL database to each piece of the system, with nothing more than a single query needed to access your desired data.
